Remington Community Garden

Imagine a place where townspeople can stake out a garden plot to grow their own fresh, healthful fruits and vegetables. Residents can bond with old friends and make new ones in a beautiful setting with trees, shrubs, and flowers, plus picnic tables, benches and grills.

Collection: The Remington Community Garden consists of 35 individual plots where townspeople can stake out a garden plot to grow their own fresh healthful fruits and vegetables. Extension Master Gardeners maintain an herb bed and three raised vegetable beds as well as maintaining the large flower beds around the stage.

History: Established in 2014 with one of the first PATH Make It Happen grants, the Gardens were planted the following year.  The garden property is owned by the Remington United Methodist Church and water is provided by St Luke's Episcopal Church. The Remington Community Garden is managed by a volunteer board of gardeners, church, and community members.

Address: 105 West Bowen Street, Remington, Virginia. Visitors are always welcome to use the pavilion and stroll through the gardens.
