“Green” Grass Program

Program Details

In the “Green” Grass program volunteer Master Gardeners come to your home or business and pull soil samples and measure the area of your lawn to make recommendations on the fertilizer and lime that you need. (Cost is $40)

Program Goals…

»The goal of the program is to help keep local streams and waterways free from pollutants by encouraging proper and timely application of lime and fertilizer. The program helps homeowners improve their lawns for a nominal fee.

» Site visit to your property by Master Gardener volunteers

» Lawn care handbook

» Sample and test your soil

» Recommendations on how and when to add fertilizer and lime

» Three-year custom plan for your lawn
