Master Gardeners will discuss a variety of ways to propagate plants, including starting form seeds, taking cuttings, division, layering and more. Following the talk, we will be giving away extra plants that we have grown or divided and seeds that we have harvested – all free to the public. Stay on to learn the history of the schoolhouse at the monthly open house from 1:00 – 3:00.
Class starts at 1 p.m. and will last one hour including a short question and answer period. The seminar is free of charge and open to the public. Registration is requested. The program is held outdoors and will be cancelled in case of rain. A few seats will be provided, but attendees may bring their own lawn chairs.
Parking is limited at #18 Schoolhouse. Participants are encouraged to park at Northern Fauquier Community Park and walk to the Schoolhouse. Additional parking is available along Whitting Road. Please do not park along John Marshall Highway.
