In this class we will create an edible landfill that teaches the many layers of a modern day landfill and how we can use recycling to keep it from filling up. The class will be taught by Liz Renaud in partnership with Fauquier County Department of Environmental Services. There will be a yummy snack at the conclusion of the class. The activities are designed for elementary aged youth.

This program will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.

Parking is limited at #18 Schoolhouse. Additional parking is available at the Northern Fauquier Community Park or along Whiting Road. Please do not park along Highway 55.

This program is free, however registration is required. Space is limited.
