Native Plant Walk

  • Riverside Preserve 8150 Leeds Manor Road Marshall, VA, 20115 United States (map)

Join Master Gardener Audubon at Home Ambassadors at a Riverside Preserve Park and learn to identify both native plants that support our ecosystem and some of the invasive plants threatening their survival. Find out why natives are so important to supporting our birds, butterflies, native bees and other insects, and how planting them on your property can help our local ecosystem thrive again. We will walk at a leisurely pace and show you some of the best the park has to offer. Be prepared for the weather and for walking on mixed terrain of flat, hilly, muddy or rocky conditions.

This is a free event, open to the public with a maximum of 20 people. Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged. Please register.
